Butterfly

It would be foolish of me to ignore so many things going on in the world, especially in my home country, United States of America. Acknowledging the injustice at home and all over the world is important to me. Making art can still be fun. It’s not about ignoring the state of the world, but knowing that I won’t let it discourage me from being a part of the creative process and humanity. Through every challenge, I want to be able to say I helped the story of mankind survive and played my part in the great play, whatever it shall be; I accept fate. Now I can say I don’t have a specific effort of awareness, but that could change. As I reevaluate my priorities, all I know is that I care, and that’s raw.
