The “Fairy” EP started as a school assignment and was supposed to be a single, but upon assembly I realized it needed its own chapter; a little longer. It’s a short dialogue, but every part of it tells a story. I was going to call it “Pretend” at first, but the word fairy feels so relevant right now with the whole she was a fairy trend, and I wanted to share more of the whimsical fairy story. There’s rave fairy and the download video that mention the fairy. I feel like this EP shares more from her.

For some people, fairy has been used as a derogatory term. For others, it’s a term of endearment. I relate to fairies in the mythical sense, like magical creatures. I imagine the kind of music they like and the way the world looks through their eyes. It’s just a side of my imagination that I wanted to share, a side of myself that I accept and hope will inspire others to accept themselves, so I’m really grateful the EP is here.
